Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to describe the basics of musculoskeletal ultrasound and its role in pain interventions in persons with neurological disorders. They will be able to assess the safety in clinical pracitse of the discussed methods - 1) ultrasound guided injections for degenerative joint, bursa, nerve or muscle conditions, 2) cervical and lumber spinal facetal and root block and sacroiliac joint injections, and 3) chemodenervation with botulinum toxin or phenol.
