Scalable and comprehensive protein analysis sample preparation workflows: analyzing fresh frozen tissue samples made easy

<p>The world of proteomics presents a unique set of challenges to analytical laboratories, whether they are working in untargeted global proteomics or targeted peptide profiling and quantitation. Despite developments in LC-MS technology, the inherent complexities of proteins, along with the need to increase protein coverage and peptide sequencing depth across all biological matrices, remain significant hurdles. Optimal, robust, and reproducible sample preparation workflows not only enable better quality results, but also ensure other critical requirements, such as scalability and throughput.</p><p>Covaris’ breakfast workshop at the World HUPO 2024 in Dresden, Germany, will highlight its Adaptive Focused Acoustics® (AFA®) Technology-enabled comprehensive sample preparation workflows and kits that ensure reliable, reproducible extraction, purification, and digestion of proteins from a host of complex biological matrices – ranging from cells to formalin fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) samples.</p>
