Marcelo Gómez, DVM (UACh, Chile), PhD in Veterinary Sciences (Virginia Tech, USA, 2005), is a full Professor of Veterinary Anatomy and Neurology at Austral University of Chile (UACh) since 1996. His main topics of research interest are focus on veterinary morphology, veterinary neurology, and neuroparasites in domestic animals. He has published more than 40 scientific articles on these topics and collaborated in several book chapters. He is actively involved in clinical teaching and research relating areas of his fields and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate (Master/PhD) students at UACh.
