In this lunch session, Andrew Hufton will lift the curtain on the editorial process and talk about how journal editors select papers for consideration, manage peer-review, and weigh peer-reviewer input. He will focus in detail on the role of data and code in modern publishing and peer-review, and will provide tips for publishing data-rich research in an open and transparent manner and for effectively sharing code and data before and after publication.
